The Mississippi Delta

In the Mississippi Delta, many children and youth are economically, socially and spiritually vulnerable. The church in the Delta struggles to meaningfully address these vulnerabilities due to spiritual complacency and capacity limitations.

Our Approach

Our approach is to engage, equip, and empower the local church to address spiritual, educational, and economic challenges in the community so that lives are transformed and the vulnerable are restored to God’s intention for them.

Church Engagement

Reclaimed works alongside local churches to build their capacity to provide sustainable, long-term care for the most vulnerable in their communities.

Community Partnerships

Reclaimed partners with local believers through schools and other organizations, strengthening opportunities and programs for the vulnerable.

Children and Youth

In partnership with local churches, Reclaimed engages youth through discipleship, leadership development, and community service. Reclaimed utilizes The Village, a multi-purpose facility for educational programs and community outreach, and The Village Next Door, a dedicated youth space where young people are encouraged to flourish and grow into the men and women God desires them to be

Education

In partnership with the Quitman County School District, Reclaimed recruits mission-minded teachers who are passionate about educating and serving in under-resourced schools throughout the Mississippi Delta. Reclaimed offers housing in upstairs apartments at The Village.
