Marks is located in the Mississippi Delta, one of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged regions of the United States.

Reclaimed works to engage, equip, and empower local churches and community organizations to address the economic, educational, and spiritual challenges that limit children and youth from fully flourishing. Through cooperative projects and programs, Reclaimed helps develop the capacity of the community to serve its most vulnerable.

Why Quitman County?

“We believed the Lord was inviting us to be a part of His plan for the Mississippi Delta. Through a divine appointment, we came to Marks, and we began to meet with citizens and community leaders to listen to their thoughts on the needs of the area.”

Our Story

Our vision is to see God reclaiming and restoring the vulnerable through his church. We believe that God’s heart is to care for the oppressed, the fatherless, and the widow (Isaiah 1:17), and He calls the church to co-labor with Him in his mission to transform lives. Marks Programs

Reclaimed implements a range of cooperative programs in Marks and Quitman County that focus on serving the vulnerable while also developing the capacity of churches and local organizations to help their communities flourish.

Teacher Fellowship

We partner with the Quitman County School District to recruit mission-minded teachers who are passionate about educating and serving their communities. The Reclaimed Teacher Fellowship walks alongside both new and seasoned educators personally, professionally, and spiritually as they make a long-term impact in under-resourced schools throughout the Mississippi Delta.

Youth Programs

In partnership with local churches, Reclaimed engages youth through discipleship, leadership, and community service programs. These programs provide opportunities for youth to flourish and grow into the young men and women God desires them to be.

The Village and The Village Next Door

The Village, located on the main street in Marks, is Reclaimed’s multi-purpose facility for implementing educational programs and hosting community outreach events. In 2024, Reclaimed purchased the building adjacent to The Village, and it has since become known as The Village Next Door. This space is being renovated for youth programs that focus on spiritual, educational, and leadership development.

Church and Community Partnerships

Reclaimed comes alongside local churches and organizations to help grow their capacity to provide sustainable care for the vulnerable in their communities. Through these partnerships, Reclaimed helps facilitate and empower community-based camps, mentorship programs, and skills development.
